In
ancient times disciples of the Truth entered into the Temples and Mystery
Schools where they lived in a protected environment. Protected, that is,
from much of the darkness or ignorance of the World, their lives being
a wholly Spiritual experience.
Whereas today, people like us are seeking enlightenment while living in the
world surrounded by the darkness and ignorance of the worldly. To make it even
more difficult we are doing this in a time when the world is slipping into
greater illusion, greater darkness with the added . . . .more
. . . .The darkness of the
world at present makes it a very fertile environment for the growth of that
Divine Seed of the Christ within us. The more we overcome these conditions of
darkness the greater expression we give to the Light or Living Christ, thereby
becoming the instruments of salvation for the race, albeit in degrees.
We have, most of us, entered
into places of worship, Temples or Churches, Synagogues or Mosques, we
have seen how these places are kept clean and tidy, with flowers on the
altars, beautiful coloured glass windows for the sunlight to flow through.
Because these places of worship are seen as the houses of God, they are kept
clean, beautiful and decorated with things to help elevate the mind and soul.
We would never consider
swearing or polluting these places of worship in any way. Devout orthodox people

Parts of this writing
are worded very strongly. It is designed to shock into realisation the
seriousness of such things, to remind you that you are a Divine Being and
a disciple of the Christ, living in a decadent world. It will make you
very aware of the way of life on this plane of existence and put you on
your guard so that you do not fall to the ways of the world. . . . .
. . . . . If it is important to keep the churches made by hands clean, how much
more important is it to keep this Temple not made by hands clean. The disciple
on the path must know what True cleanliness. . . . . .more

your House of God, all the negative expressions of the lower or carnal
self are the thieves that deprive you of the Power within.
Christ bid us: “Be
ye therefore Perfect, even as your Father which is in Heaven is Perfect”
To do this we must see
as God sees, we must look through the inner eye of the soul. To exist in harmony
and perfection this eye must be opened in innocence, it must not see. . . . .
